WHAT IS A CANNONBALL RALLY CHALLENGE?

A challenging modern driving experience…

Using digital navigation and GPS tracking, participants follow a carefully designed route on public roads, earning points for accuracy and consistency rather than speed.

It’s about the challenge, not the race.

Imagine combining the adventure of a road trip with the challenge of a rally.

How does it work?

We will run through the ins and outs from start to finish on the morning each event, but here is an overview.

Drivers and navigators are provided with a tablet with the route loaded and ready to go.  Drivers must follow the route accurately and abide by any speed zones marked on the route.

Penalty points are given for going off course, missing waypoints and overspeeding.

Lunch, coffee and fuel stops are marked on the route.

The goal is to score ZERO POINTS, which is the perfect score!

A live leaderboard will display the results and awards will be given for the ‘Zero Heroes’.
