What is the Cannonball 100 experience day all about?

Introduction and Briefing (approx 90mins)

During the morning session we will explain everything about the challenge and how to navigate for all Cannonball events, how it works, how to navigate, so you are 100% prepared for the practise session later in the day.

• You will learn everything you need to know about Cannonball events.
• You will learn how to navigate the route using two systems
• Symbols and penalty zones will be explained.
• You will have a digital tablet supplied by the team, which will be returned at the end of the day. This ensures you have everything you need for a successful practise session.

Practise Session (Approx 2 hours driving time)

Now we are ready to go.
Each participant will set off in their own vehicle at two minutes intervals.

• You will navigate the course following the rules for the Cannonball 100.
• Be as accurate as you can and avoid picking up penalty points on the route.
• Drive the circular practice route and arrive back at the start point.
• Your results will be displayed immediately on the Leaderboard on the Finish Line.

Debrief (Approx 30 mins)

Questions and answers
Scores will be announced (A penalty score of Zero is the best possible Score)
